I aspire
to be an extra-ordinary person. It helps me try to be different, to rise above
petty issues, to try not to miss the forest for the trees. I hope this does
good to you as it has done for me.
But, what
is the extra-ordinary?
It is to believe, when everyone doubts;
To be cheerful, when everything is boring and difficult;
Smile, when others grumble;
See beauty in spite of mediocrity and ugliness;
To be able to love in a hostile atmosphere;
To hope, when others despair;
To support, instead of living in self-pity;
To be vibrant in a shapeless atmosphere;
To be grateful for what remains,
Instead of bemoaning what is lost.
