ગૉખલા જૅવા ઘર ની અન્દર ગૂનગલાતૉ હુ ઇછુ રાજા ના મહૅલ નૉ વિસ્તાર‌ કૅ પછી ખુલ્લા ગગન ની નિચૅ ફરતા ઍક્ ભરઅવાડ નૉ અવકાશ રૉજ રૉજ નિ દીનચર્યા તથા કુથલી મા રચી પચિ રહૅતી મન‍બુદ્ધી નૅ ઢીલ છૉડી ઉચાઈ અને વધૂ ઊચાઈ શોધતી પતન્ગ્ નો અવાકાશ માન્, મોભા, મૂડી અને વ્યવસાય ના લૌકીક માપદન્ડ્ ની પરવાહ ના કરી નીર્ભય બની, મન્ પ્રેરણા ને અનૂસરી કશૂ કરવાનો, કે ક્શૂ ના કરવાનો અવકાશ ડગલે ને પગલે જવાબદારી ના ઊચાર થી ત્રસ્ત્ હૂ ઈચ્હૂ અલખ્ નિરનજન્ બાવા નો, કે મૂક્ત્ વીચરતા વેગેબોન્ડ નો અવકાશ જીવન ની કેસેટ્ ને ફાસ્ટ્ ચલાવી કામ જલદી નીબટાવા નો અવકાશ   - Pravin Gandhi	Cooped up in a cubby-hole of my flat I yearn the expanse of the king's palace; or else, wandering under the open sky, a shepherd's avkaash.     Day-to-day routine and schemes, In which is pre-occupied the Mind and intellect, O to give it free rein, Searching for higher and higher height: a kite's avkaash.     Not caring for the mundane yardstick Of fame, affluence and enterprise; Not being afraid to heed the intuition, The avkaash of doing something, or of doing nothing.     Tired of being reminded of responsibilities at every step I yearn for the avkaash of the fakir, or the avkaash of the freely roaming vagabond; the avkaash of being able to fast-forward life's cassette and quickly finish the work on hand.   - Pravin Gandhi
